Once upon a Time.. Part~5. An English poem by Saroop Chattopadhyay (Fifth one of Once upon a Time series)

*Once upon a Time.. 5*

Once upon a time
Without a reason or a rhyme..
A sweet queen gave some sign of love
Suddenly again I've fallen..

I look into her eyes
My heart starts to race
My breathing rapidly increases
My body’s in a state
Yet …
I’m in heaven!

What is happening to me?
It feels as if I'm losing my mind
Do I take this chance of love?
Or do I run and hide?

You’re in my thoughts day and night
I’m fighting these feelings with every ounce inside
Knowing very well that I have plenty to hide

But she saw right through
No wall too thick or too tall
I feel vulnerable
I feel bare

How I long for your touch
For the taste of your luscious lips
For the safe heaven I will get
By hugging you in my chest
And you wrap your arms around me

I am falling for you
Falling hard and fast
It feels as though I’m looking at this
From one dizzy height
A mixture of excitement & fear
Whenever you are near

Today I’m taking a stand
I will be brave and give love a chance
Despite the fear & uncertainty
I want to be a part of you
I want to be a part of your life

I don't know whether it will sustain..
I don't know if society will accept it or not?
I even don't know how long you'll love me..
But really I have fallen in love once again

But still I am.. take my hand
For I am fragile & scared
I’m putting all my trust in you
I have fallen for you even in this fag end of my life.

Once Upon A Time -4 an English poem by Saroop Chattopadhyay after Once Upon A Time 1, 2 & 3.. It’s a sequel related to my life and it will be continued in spite of some pressure for not to published all.. But before my death I want to express myself.

                     Once upon a time when - 4

Once upon a time when all loves passed
Leaving me alone in this world,
Then I tried hard to survive
By seeing face of a holy child.

Once upon a time when I tried
To survive in this cruel world,
Only for a bud to make her a flower
Then I realized I was alone very alone.

Then suddenly I found a glittering Queen

With all her good wishes from the blue sky,

Who suddenly came beside me to remove-

My tears and make my eyes dry.

Once upon a time when another sweet Queen

Gave me the ray of hope & new life,

Then suddenly question arouse in my mind

How long this dream will continue?

Oh God! I know the queen from fairy tell
Will go back to her blue sky,
Then I will become alone perhaps more alone..
Will my bud become a flower by then??

Once Upon A Time -3 is an English poem by Saroop Chattopadhyay after Once Upon A Time 1 & 2.. It’s a sequel related to my life and it will be continued in spite of some pressure for not to published all.. But before my death I want to express myself.

                          Once upon a time when – 3

Once upon a time when
              I found a red gem
I thought it was pure Ruby
And happily placed it into my heart.

But, alas! Soon my dream brok
              When I realized that
It was only an ordinary red stone
Then my happiness became a burden.

Once upon a time when
              That red stone hurt me
Some blood came out from my face
              Then every thing became reddish.

 Suddenly I became puzzled
              What the reddish signal meant,
Is it signaling to stop the life’s run?
Or it was the colour of morning Sun!

Once upon a time (Part – 2) an English Poem written by Saroop Chattopadhyay in 2002 after finalizing Ruby as his life partner.

                                        Once upon a time – 2
Written by Saroop Chattopadhyay in 2002 after finalizing Ruby as his life partner.

Once upon a time when

I was searching for life partner,

I found lots of glittering gold

And became blind with the glitter

Once upon a time when I was blind

I heard some sweet music of jewels,

But when the music became rumpus

                        I became confused.

Once upon a time when I was confused

                        To select the most specious

Thing of my life,

                        I became worried.

Suddenly I found a red Ruby

This was lying far away from me,

Somehow I realized it was only for me and placed it in my heart

With the hope that we will never be apart.
