Swami Vivekananda was an Avtar in all sense.. Here is a short evaluation (although I'm not capable to evaluate such a great personality) of Swami Vivekananda who is truly an Avtar, Saint, Philosopher. A humble tribute to Swamiji by me.

I believe Swami Vivekananda was not only a legend or an Idol only, I believe like his Guru Thakur Sri Ramakrishna he too was an Avatar...

He came to this earth to enlighten us during his short stay...

If you see the work Swami Vivekananda did in his short life an entire community can't too in a decade.
He was a saint but not like normal saints he was a philosopher, management Guru, guide, Great Karmayogi everything in together.

Swami Vivekananda will be enshrined in people's hearts and minds always.

He was One of the Saptarishis whom Thakur beckoned whilst the Lord decided to descend on earth to redeem humanity.

Thakur Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansha Dev knew that Swamiji will be the actual articulation of His Divinity and Mission.

Sri Ramakrishna understand that it was only his Naren (Vivekananda) who can spread his thoughts and vision in a much elaborated and modern (sophisticated) way to the world, so that even after Centuries people can get peace and directions through it.

Wandering mystic, eloquent philosopher and a spiritual ambassador to the west, Swami Vivekananda awakened India's masses to its rich philosophical heritage while also stressing of scientific inquiry.

If you read Swami Vivekananda's quotes and lectures you yourself will realize it. Here some of Swamiji's quotes:

To awake India's masses was an unique & tough job, wasn't possible by a common man or even a saint... That's Swamiji who have done this unique task.

That too was only within 39yrs 5months and 24days lifespan which this great man Swami Vivekananda lived in this world.
Really incredible..
