Once Upon A Time -3 is an English poem by Saroop Chattopadhyay after Once Upon A Time 1 & 2.. It’s a sequel related to my life and it will be continued in spite of some pressure for not to published all.. But before my death I want to express myself.

                          Once upon a time when – 3

Once upon a time when

              I found a red gem

I thought it was pure Ruby

              And happily placed it into my heart.

But, alas! Soon my dream brok

              When I realized that

It was only an ordinary red stone

              Then my happiness became a burden.

Once upon a time when

              That red stone hurt me

Some blood came out from my face

              Then every thing became reddish.

 Suddenly I became puzzled

              What the reddish signal meant,

Is it signaling to stop the life’s run?

              Or it was the colour of morning Sun!

Simana Chariye (সীমানা ছাড়িয়ে) – “Crossing the Limit” an emotional romantic Bengali Poem (Bangla Kobita) by Saroop Chattopadhyay reminds us that we shouldn’t cross our limit in fantasy & love, ultimately you will end up with sorrow. (It is just an imaginary poem)

                  সীমানা ছাড়িয়ে

                                                       স্বরূপ চট্টপাধ্যায় 

চলে যেতে চেয়েছিলাম নিজের সীমানা ছাড়িয়ে…

বসন্ত  হাওয়ায়  দোলা  খেতে খেতে এই ঝিলমিল মনের দাস হয়ে;

কোন এক গুপ্ত স্থানে  সমাজ আর বন্ধনের সীমা ছাড়িয়ে দূরে বহু দূরে,

শুধু তোমাকে আঁকড়ে ধরে তোমার ওই মিষ্টি স্বরটাকে সঙ্গে করে।।

কবি মন তো, তাই হয়ত আমি একটু বেশিই ভেবে নিয়েছিলাম…

কিন্তু সত্যি কি আমি একাই শুধু ভেবেছিলাম

তুমি কি কিছুই ভাবনি, দুজনের এক হওয়ার ভাবনা…

সত্যি কি একটুও উড়েনি তোমার রঙিন মনের পাখনা?? 

কে জানে হয়ত বা এক পলকের জন্য হলেও উড়েছিল...

তার পরক্ষনেই হয়ত বা কোন এক চন্দনের সুবাস এসছিল; 

তার ঘ্রানে হয়ে আচ্ছন্ন ভুলেছিলে তুমি নিজের স্বরুপ, 

আবার হয়ত বা আমিই চলে গেছিলাম নিজের সীমানা ছারিয়ে।।
