Kolkata witnessed a record number of attendees Thursday July 21, 2016; during ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC)'s martyr day special rally.

This rally was organized close on the heels of a huge victory in the recently concluded WB assembly election. As usual in the earlier years several leaders from opposition parties have joined TMC during the rally at Dharmatala, Kolkata.

MLAs & Councillors from Congress & CPIM attended meeting and join TMC. The worst casualty Region is Deepa Dasmunshi’s region as the Municipality now is Governed by TMC.

 

Weakening the Left-Congress alliance in West Bengal, two MLAs of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and Congress joined the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday during the party's annual martyrs' day observation in Kolkata.

TMCs Secretary General Partha Chatterjee announced this from the stage in central Kolkata.

Dipali Biswas, CPI-M MLA from Malda’s Gajol constituency & Tusharkanti Bhattacharya, Congress MLA from Bankura, Bishnupur constituency were present here and joining Trinamool Congress party today.

Meanwhile, 14 opposition councillors of three municipalities also joined the ruling partyon Thursday.

Seven Congress Councillors, including the vice chairman, of North Dinajpur’s Kaliaganj Municipality, West Midnapur’s Khargapur Municipalitys five councillors and Purulia Municipality’s two councillors are joining TMC. Getting majority (9 out of total 10 seats), we are taking possession of Kaliaganj Municipality, Partha Chatterjee further said.

In the beginning AITC (TMC) ‘s general secretary indicated that Trinamool’s next target is Tripura. Tripura’s MLA Sudip Roy Burman addressed the rally. As a first step, Trinamool Supremo Mamata will address a Trinamool Congress gathering in Agartala on 9^th August 2016.

“Mamata Banerjee is the only leader who has stood up against communal politics in India” as told by her minister Firhad Hakim.

Eminent musician and former Trinamool Congress parliamentarian Kabir Suman on Thursday made a passionate appeal to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for releasing political prisoners lodged in jails across the state.

Kabir Suman also said he is missing Madan Mitra Very Much.

Highlights of Mamata Banerjee’s speech:

Mamata Banerjee said our target is to convert Bengal into Biswa Bangla.

Frontal organisations, panchayats, ZillaParishads, municipalities must keep working for the people.

Central Govt is politically blackmailing opposition through CBI & ED. Instead of bringing black-money back to India they allowed our white money to runaway. 80,000 industrialists left India due to harassment by CBI & ED. States are full of debt but Central Govt isn’t helping. She even went to give examples of different states reeling under loan debt. She blames Center that it is ploy by them (Central Govt) to keep the states under pressure and talk about Federal System.

Attempts are on to saffronise everything: Mamata Banerjee .This is evident from the fact that now Dalit suicide torture across India especially BJP ruled states have increased which she again said was an area of concern. She was critical about Centres Policy like “Swach Bharat” / “Beti Banchao Beti Parao” which are only schemes for Advertisement as compared to similar schemes of bigger size by Bengal Government. The tone was one of confidence and message clear don’t mess with us.

In one of his most searing speeches after the victory in the Assembly poll, Trinamool Congress [TMC] chairperson and the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee spoke against "saffron polarisation" in the country and the State using the "politics of cow." She has appealed to stop such politics. Without naming any political party the Chief Minister has said that she will "not tolerate" any politics of polarization in the State through "cow surveys" by certain political parties.

"I heard that few people, on behalf of a political party or its sister organization is reaching out to the people. They are asking about the number of cows in each household. What right do they have to ask this question?," the Chief Minister asked.

Will not allow communalization in the name of security. Food habit is a personal choice. 

"Dalits are targeted in Gujarat. We are condemning these incidents. And I would like to make it clear that if someone would like to conduct this [cow] survey - tries to set fire - be rest assured we would not tolerate that. We would fight such [intentions] politically. We will not let you set houses on fire," Ms. Banerjee said.

Raising the issue of attacks on Dalits at Una in Gujarat, Ms. Banerjee also called for putting an end to the cow politics in the country.

On Thursday Ms. Banerjee also raised her concerns about saffron polarization in different spheres including education.

There was also some clear do’s& don’ts for TMC Workers by party Chief Mamata Banerjee. 

Zero tolerance on issues of corruption & personal benefits. Anyone who wants to practice are not for TMC. It was bold crisp clear … No lobbying within the party.

Each one should prepare themselves for serving the people only so that when a TMC Worker walks down the street people should identify each them by pointing out look a TMC worker is going who stands beside us during our need s. A very simple statement though but its unlined meaning is immense. TMC Workers should also make a Yearly Calendar for themselves for serving the common people.

Her mandate was No one is welcome in the party who makes life difficult for common people.

Here is the full details of 21 se July একুশে জুলাই. Looking back at July 21, 1993; what happened and certain untold truth about 21st July revolution in Bengal by Mamata Banerjee.

Every year on 21^st July Martyr's Day Rally (21se July Sahid Dibas) a mass rally being organized by the All India Trinamool Congress in remembrance of 13 people shot dead by West Bengal Police in Kolkata (with the instruction by the CPIM lead government) during a rally by the West Bengal Youth Congress under Mamata Banerjee on 21 July 1993 while demanding Voter's Identity Card to be made sole required document for voting.

Background & what happened in 21^st July 1993:

The 14-year-old communist government won a massive mandate in 1991, but after Mamata Bandopadhyay became the president of youth wing of the opposition INC a new wave of protests began against what many believed Scientific Rigging employed by the ruling party.

On October 1992, Mamata Banerjee, now Chief Minister held a massive rally at the Brigade Parade Ground to symbolically toll the bell for ousting of the Communist Government. To many this rejuvenated the opposition to Ruling Communists after a long gap.

On December 1992, Banerjee took a physically challenged Girl Felani Basak, who was allegedly raped by CPI(M) cadres to the Writers' Building to the then Chief Minister Jyoti Basu but was harassed and allegedly molested by the police before being arrested and released from detention in midnight, this attracted universal outrage.

Finally the youth wing of the party led by Mamata Banerjee,  decided to march to Writers' Building to lodge appeals for Voter Photo-ID cards to be made necessary for free and fair polling....

It was July 21, 1993. The day of Writers' Abhijan organized by the Youth Congress. The demand was: voters' ID cards be made the only required document for voting, to put a stop to CPM's "scientific rigging".

Thousands of Youth Congress supporters had gathered at five different points of the city. 

The rally was a large yet peaceful one with attendance well over 100000. suddenly trouble broke out as cadres from CPI(M) mingled in the crowd and started to throw bricks at police then police began to Lathicharge attending people who reacted by throwing brickbats at the police. 

The Police started shooting from their .303 Rifles without any warning and shot in peoples' head and torso in trying to kill more protesters, 13 people died from the Bullet Wounds sustained. The Decision to open fire was also widely criticized particularly as most of those killed were shot in the back proving they have been murdered in cold blood.

By that time, state Youth Congress president Mamata Banerjee had reached the Tea Board crossing, accompanied by a few other leaders. She had climbed onto a traffic post in the middle of the road, in an effort to control the crowd. The angry policemen surrounded the traffic post and started a lathicharge. 

The Youth Congress leaders accompanying Mamata threw a protective ring around her. Some of them — including Saugata Roy — were badly beaten up, Mamata Banerjee was also had a serious injury. It seems plan was to kill Mamata Banerjee.

The testimony came during his deposition before the single- member judicial commission formed by the Mamata Banerjee- led Trinamool Congress government to investigate the incident, which took place on July 21, 1993. The commission seeks to determine on whose instruction the police opened fire.

Main culprit Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, then the West Bengal Information and Cultural Affairs minister in the Jyoti Basu led Cabinet, was also in charge of the city police at the time.

"At that time, in principle, I did not feel the need for a judicial inquiry and I still stick to my views,"Bhattacharjee said in his 50- minute deposition before the July 21 Commission headed by former Orissa High Court Chief Justice Sushanto Chattopadhyay.

The rally in question was organized by the then West Bengal Youth Congress president Mamata Banerjee demanding that photo voter identity cards be made mandatory to ensure fair elections.

When the demonstrators reached Mayo Road and Dorina Crossing at Esplanade, about one kilometer away from Writers' Buildings, they came under fire from the police.

Union Home Minister S. B. Chavan, who had rushed to Calcutta after the incident, advised the state Government to order a judicial probe into the incident. However, no probe was ordered by the Chief Minister, Jyoti Basu, who supported the police actions saying they had "done a good job" in preventing the alleged attempted siege of the Writers' Building.

In his deposition, Bhattacharjee said the protesters indulged in "large- scale violence" adding that as a result" around 70 policemen sustained injuries". However, this claim was questioned by Justice (Retired) Chattopadhyay, who pointed out that there was no record of any police personnel taking admission in hospitals to seek treatment for the injuries Bhattacharjee claimed were inflicted on them by the protesters.

The entire episode of 21st July incident gives us a clear view of certain untold truth:

1.     Mamata Banerjee from the early days did take on the CPM head on which the Congress Leaders at the center & state did not want. It was their vested interest among them are some leaders who are at the Top. They never supported Mamata Banerjee. She understood the truth that Congress has become the B Team of CPM.

2.     The cry for Voter ID Card raised by Mamata Banerjee later turned into a history making decision of Election process in India. 

3.     The then Left Govt stinked of arrogance when we read the reporting of Budhadeb Bhattacharya. No wonder he later was an epitome of Arrogance. Now all his arrogance has been smashed to the ground by the historic win of TMC and his one garland photo shoot with Rahul Gandhi. Hypocrisy does not have any color caste or creed.

4. Left shouts about Democracy – how hollow their shout is .. Just imagine when was the democracy when files where lost which depicted all info about 13 lives lost on 21st July. They should keep quiet and apologies to the family members of those bereaved .

5. Lastly Holy cow (?!?) Congress, how low one can stop? How can you forget 13 lives lost, how you can forget that rally it was done for your benefit and some criticized it later?  We all know who those culprits are – now they are on virtual retirement.

Terrorism in the form of separatists’ movement in Kashmir must be condemned by all. Here is the History, Background, Actual Scenario of Kashmir problem which is much beyond the Burhan Wani.

Some people from India also (Mainly Communists & Sick-culars) thinks supporting Kashmiri-Separatists and condemning Indian Army is a sign & fashion of intellectualism so they are shouting on Facebook, Twitter etc social media and some of them are even doing protest march without knowing the History, Background, Actual Scenario of Kashmir problem which is much beyond the Burhan Wani type of separatist killing in an encounter.

Very few people will understand the Kashmir problem, neither in national level, nor in the international level.

History: Why Kashmir is an integral part of India >>

At the time of the Indian independence, Maharaja Hari Singh, the ruler of the state, preferred to become independent and remain neutral between the successor dominions of India or the Pakistan. However, an uprising in the western districts of the State followed by an attack by raiders from the neighbouring Northwest Frontier Province, supported by Pakistan, put an end to his plans for independence. 

On 26 October 1947, the Maharaja Hari Singh signed the Instrument of Accession joining the Dominion of India in return for military aid.[4] The western and northern districts presently known as Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan passed to the control of Pakistan.

Although agreement was done for entire Kashmir which means Azad Kashmir should also be a part of India.

Background: Why Separatists movement happening in Kashmir>>

For a long time Kashmiris have been brain washed in Arab brand of supremacist Islam.

The Kashmiri brand of Islam has developed into a highly orthodox supremacist brand (unlike in Bengal, which still have some remnant effect of the teachings of Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa, joto mot toto path).

People under the influence of that brand of Islam can be easily convinced about creating an Islamic state by all means.

That precipitated the attack by Kashmiri Muslims on Pundits and rise of militant Islam.

Remember, if most Muslims at that time protested against driving out the Pundits or against militant Islam, there would have been no need for the Army to interfere.

Present Scenario:  How and why Pakistan is disturbing Kashmir>>

With the recent rise in radical Hinduism, it became further easy to convince radical Muslims and orthodox Muslims in Kashmir to take part in creation of a Islamic state.

This trouble was long being fomented by Pakistan as a reply to India's role in liberation of Bangladesh.

They started before, but momentum picked up after 1971. This is more an ideological war.

With the advent of social media, now these militants with their faces and ideology revealed in FB and Twitter, have been able to capture the imagination of orthodox Muslim population.

The orthodox Muslim population of Kashmir, believing in so-called two nation theory that muslims can not live along with other communities being a majority (i.e., India) started day-dreaming about creating a separate Islamic state (although, these muslims apply for visa for Canada, or USA or European countries where they still be a minority, proving that the 2 nation theory is a hoax), bringing upon themselves the military crackdown.

The Indian Kashmir is far more developed that PoK, but it is not about development, but about supremacist religious state.

Pakistan did not want to loose its control of Afganistan. They were foiled by the master stroke of India with the help of Army and other help.

This also did not go well with Pakistan. More over Baluchistan also is a cancer for Pakistan. They always complain about India involvement there but surely this is only a here say. But Kashmir don’t want to be under Pakistan because they know they will be treated like prisoners which is true for many videos that went viral. The violence and anarchy are all masterminds of Terrorists outfits of Pak funded.

Conclusion: Pakistan Funded Terrorism & Islamists Terrorism Can’t Be Tolerated>> 

Remember, this Arab brand of supremacist Islam still considers India, France, Israel & Spain as unfinished business, do not want to recognize that their fore-fathers illegally occupied Palestine through brutal war (Palestine historically belongs to Israel and Muslims there are grand-grand-grand children of Muslim invaders; they have chosen not to live peacefully under the Israeli government, but want a separate Islamic State).

Today, if the Kashmiris complain about military atrocity, I will ask them where was their voice when Islamic militancy started growing and Pundits were killed and driven out of Kashmir to make it free of all other religion.

Yes Pak funded terrorism can’t be tolerated, the whole world is facing Islamists Terrorists threat even in Islamists country like in Syria, Iraq & Pakistan many are dying due to terrorist’s attacks.

The sooner people will start understanding the difference between Arab brand of supremacist Islam and Liberal Islam, the better.

People should evaluate the development in Indian Kashmir Vs POK (Pak occupied Kashmir) and leave peacefully or else they should first raise their voice to get freedom in POK and then do separatists movement in Indian Kashmir.

And for Communists, Sick-cular intellectuals who are Pro-Pak but living in India should leave India and go to Pakistan ASAP.
